SENIOR VALENTINE’S DANCE WITH COUNCILWOMAN MARY ESTIMÉ-IRVIN
The Senior Valentine’s Dance, hosted by Ashley JAE and organized by Councilwoman Mary Estimé-Irvin of the City of North Miami, District 3, was a truly memorable event. Seniors from the community gathered for a night filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Guests danced to lively music, enjoyed delicious refreshments, and celebrated friendship in a warm, vibrant atmosphere. Ashley JAE’s inviting presence made sure everyone felt welcomed and appreciated, adding an extra touch of joy to the evening. It was a wonderful celebration of community, connection, and the lively spirit of our seniors!
SANT LA FELLOWSHIP CLASS IX GRADUATION
Ashley had the honor of hosting the graduation ceremony for Sant La Fellows Class IX alongside Getro Naissance (Class VII Fellow). Sant La Fellows is a year-long leadership program designed to identify, prepare, and support the next generation of Haitian-American civic, academic, business, and political leaders. The program empowers young professionals of Haitian descent through mentorship, coaching, discussion labs, and a capstone project aimed at benefiting the community. It emphasizes the importance of developing culturally and linguistically competent leaders who are committed to the upward trajectory of the Haitian community. It was truly inspiring to see the Fellows graduate, and Ashley looks forward to seeing how they continue to make an impact in the community.
“WHEN WE ARE ALL ENGAGED” AT MARYLAND HUMANITIES SUMMIT
Ashley participated in the virtual panel discussion titled "Understanding Algorithms and Content Dissemination" at the Maryland Humanities Summit. Drawing from her experience as a journalist and expertise in audience development, Ashley provided valuable insights into how algorithms shape online content distribution and influence the information we consume. The panel explored the complex dynamics of algorithm-driven content spread, offering attendees a deeper understanding of these systems’ impact.

“SHOW ME YOU KNOW ME” AT ELEVATE WITH AIRSHIP
Ashley had the pleasure of speaking at #Elevate22 with Airship in New York — in which she delivered a presentation entitled: “Personalization to Drive Engagement in the Customer Journey.” The lecture focuses on how personalization sits at the forefront of CNET’s mobile push notifications strategy, a topic she has mastered for close to 4 years.
The talk was labeled as the most engaging presentation of the day by Airship’s CEO Brett Caine, top executives, and attendees! Ashley says, “I'm grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge with Airship customers and I can’t wait to be invited back in the future.”
